| Bevel Emboss - Celluloid
A group musicians took possession of Studio 150 in Amsterdam to take up an instrumental challenge. At the Amsterdam Parade festival 2011 ideas came up to start a band and Louis de Wit wrote a bunch of guitartunes followed by enthusiastic response from musician friends. The line-up was completed with Jac Bico on Leadguitar, Louis de Wit on guitar, Paul van Rijswijk on drums and Bart de Ruiter on Bassguitar. They developed a special way of rehearsal to finish the songs. Now they present an album: Bevel Emboss - Celluloid. This album features 15 songs, to be considered as an ode to pure guitar music. Bevel Emboss has mixed the traditional Western sound with Turkish, Arab, Spanish and South-American beat and sounds, resulting in a mystical listening experience as if you are part of the action. |
